The Rakshasa
I feel somewhat nervous about writing of the rakshasa
Because I fear I might have one in my back casa
Else why would a wealthy spellmaker
Live in the backyard of an undertaker
But I found him to be sophisticated
And totally falsely hated
When many came by (but he wasn’t there)
The attested to the greatness of his mind, heart, and hair.
One day a noble Prince stopped over
(Was he distant? He kept calling me ‘Rover’.
He informed my roommate was an evil illusionist
And when the Gods found out what company I kept, they’d be pissed.
I thanked him. I plied him with wine.
After a couple of bottles, everything just seemed to align
And when my friend comes home, life will seem less doomin’
Because the first lesson my friend taught me:
How yummy is fried human!

A Treant
I love to climb trees
And the Treant smiled and allowed it
