Hassim: A Moment In The Life Of A Djinn

Hassim came out of the Bottle. He barely noticed the wishes he granted the child; he just left the wishes with the child who let him out, and if the youngling wished for infinite wishes or something, the Universe would likely sort itself out. But, slightly selfishly, he was free, out of the bottle, and stretching.

And, in fact, the Youngling’s wishes ended up using every trick in the book.

And there are many, many books about Wishes.

And it caused much trouble.

But not to Hassim.

For since he had been bottled so long, he no longer cared about the World of Man or anyone else.

He just stretched.

And stretched.

Until his arms encircled the World, and bigger. Bigger than the Earth, bigger than Gravity, bigger than any rules.

He put the Earth in a bottle and sent it spinning away, far away, to another Galaxy, waiting, frustrated, trapped, and plotting for what they’d do to whoever popped the cork.
