I needed Revenge upon the White Knight
So a Mindgame did I play
I recruited a hundred very Dark Knights
And painted them all shades of Grey.
When the White Knight next hied him forth
To seek out the unholy Traitor
His wrath alone was surely enough
To leave his enemy a smoking crater
Except…
No single Knight. No single Villain.
No perfect Opposition.
“No respect for morality!
And no respect for tradition!”
So many Knights, all Evil?
The White Knight understood
But so many Knights, surely part Evil
And surely part Good?
Had he not a helmet worn
We’d have seen his head’s explosion
As it is, we saw, in his eyes
A faith’s ultra-rapid erosion
Surely Evil confronted him
But he didn’t know what to say
Only Whitewash is a defense
Against purity’s decay.
The White Knight sadly rode away
He knew he’d been repelled
As for me, the Dragon?
I ate all of the Knights. Shelled.*
